The winner of the singing contest will receive 5 MILLION DOLLARS and a record contract. This is the highest prize in TV show history. The show is scheduled to premier in September.

Disorient and Kostume Kult have thrown together the 6th annual Black and Light Ball which is a party where people dress up in florescent colored costumes or costumes with lights on them. The venue features a plentiful amount of black light which makes all costumes stand out. This year it was held at club Mars 2012. The party featured a fashion show by Britelite who specializes in designing wearable light costumes.

The 51st Annual Quadrille Ball took place at The Plaza Grand Ballroom to raise money for scholarships awarded to German and American graduate students to study abroad in the two countries.

As part of its Brain exhibit, The American Museum of Natural History had an event called “This Is Your Brain On Ping Pong” which they co-organized with Club SPiN. They had a bunch of Pint Pong tables for people to play. The professional ping pong players from the club exhibited their skills as the panel of lecturers were talking about how human brain works while a person is playing Ping Pong.

This was my first (and most likely last) attendance of the bull riding competition. It was fun to watch for the first half hour, but the rest of the event is basically the same thing. People getting on the bull and getting bumped off. But I did have fun with the video editing:
